The Homestead Strike
Andrew Carnegie was a wealthy and determined man. However in his factory a strike had emerged. The Homestead Strike in 1892 was violent and aggressive strike. The company bought private army to stop the strikers ,however they had lost to the strikers. Carnegie then got state's help and acquired 6,000 militia men to help put an end to the strike.

The Pullman Strike
One of the biggest strikes. This strike had quickly grown into a national railway strike. Gaining more and more people each day. American Railway Union got involved turned the strike even more powerful. The Federal government decided to end this strike ,by force. In both the homestead and Pullman strike, the strikers never won.
